  • Just a little unassuming spot across the street from the Law School. Family owned and operated, the menu is southern and simple. The food is absolutely delicious. Baked chicken fell off the bone…. Tender breading was the best we’d ever had…. Green beans needed no seasoning and the okra would’ve made my great grandma say oooooh yum!

  • Stopped in for breakfast on our way through Mississippi. The brunch / weekend menu had something for everyone. I went with the breakfast toaster sandwich. Perfectly cooked egg, perfectly cooked bacon, so tasty and filling. My slightly picky kids devoured waffles, bacon, eggs, and grits. The coffee was strong and generously portioned in a large to go cup. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Welcoming and hospitable staff. We can’t wait to come back!

  • Seriously the best fried chicken I’ve had in years! Me and my family dropped in on our way to the beach and had breakfast there and we all ordered chicken and waffles. Gem of a place! Highly recommend!

  • My son and I stopped in for lunch. The catfish was the best I have had in a long time. Sides were excellent, Mac and cheese was so good. I would definitely stop back in. People working invited us to come back. All on all I hope to stop by again sometime.

  • When the guy told me "you won't regret coming here" when I told him I've never been (from out of state) and handed me the food I wasn't sure he would be right but let me tell you he was! This food is so delicious and worth the drive. The food is made fresh to order, great customer service with friendly staff, great flavor wings and waffle, overall I'm heading back before I head home and getting some to go. It was a masterpiece of a meal with flavors, service, quality and atmosphere. 12/10 I'm going again! DJ is so friendly and made sure I came back i got the honey bun cake which was delicious and the home made "come back sauce" was amazing

  • We stopped by one morning before work and gave them a try for the first time. My wife and I both got a full breakfast plate with grits, eggs, meat, and a biscuit. The food was good and enjoyable. Like most other things, expect to pay a bit more due to today's economy.

  • I first found out about this place by being a Door Dasher. The workers were very energetic, on point, and with speedy service. Then, the cashier welcomed me to come try it out once I get finished dashing, and I did!! I reviewed the menu with an indecisive mind. Then, the cashier suggested today's special which was five piece wings and two sides for $10. I jumped on that wonderful, inexpensive deal! And it was delicious. They only have regular fried wings, no variety, but I tell you they were seasoned so delicious . I sat on the outside deck to eat and enjoyed the sunlight. They close at 2 pm.
